The Manila Bay Coordinating Office (MBCO), in partnership with the National Capital Region Office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-NCR) and the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Theater Group, held a puppet show on November 20, 2018 at the Concepcion Elementary School, Brgy. Concepcion, Malabon City.
This is in celebration of the National Climate Change Consciousness Week with the theme “Sama-Sama sa K5: Kilos sa Klima at Kalamidad tungo sa Kaligtasan at Kaunlaran”. It aims to create awareness on global warming and the adverse impacts of climate change in order to secure the collective cooperation of all sectors.
The Puppet Show entitled “Inang Kalikasan” showcased the impacts of climate change, its causes and the things that can be done to lessen its impact, and protect and conserve the environment.
